Helios
See what your code does
Helios turns Python data structures into animations, transforming your code and ideas into intuitive visuals.

Helios for Learning
Helios today can visualise algorithms for all data types we support. Use our API to make visualisations yourself or instruct our agent to write and/or visualise for you. Run the code and watch what happens.

Identifying the need in Education
From a survey of 24,000 programmers on the teaching of computer science.
An interactive layer for the material already being taught
A teacher can turn a static example into an interactive exercise. Students can inspect, run and modify the code themselves. Avoid building visualisations manually for each example.
Sorting Algorithms
Every comparison and swap animates straight from the code that produced it. Your own code stands right next to the visualisation.
Geometry in its natural form
Points, lines and shapes are numbers in code, but not in our minds. With Helios, spatial algorithms finally look like the shapes they're computing instead of lists of numbers.
Matrices and Graphs don't have to be boring
See a path finding algorithm explore and solve a maze in front of your eyes, turning a grid of numbers into a story worth following.
Helios for Developing
Helios of tomorrow will visualize more complex data structures and code. We are expanding our engine for higher quality and robustness. So engineers, not just students, can rely on it.

Understand AI-generated code fast and effectively
AI can write code in seconds, but understanding it still takes time. Often, we're not interested in the actual syntax, it's the ideas and methods that are important. Helios visualises only what matters.
Stop reading documentation, start watching instead
Written documentation can be long and strenuous. A Helios visualization could be processed more quickly and is based on the current code. So onboarding a new engineer to a codebase means showing them real behavior, not last quarter's diagrams.
Ask an agent what to visualise, watch the result
You don't have to know the Helios API to use it. Describe what you want to see: client-server queries, a retry loop, a state machine, etc. The agent will wrap the right structures and produces the animation.
Helios for Creating
We are exploring a non-technical version of Helios to make idea visualization accessible for everyone. By removing the need for coding, people can use Helios as a standalone tool to create animations and bring their ideas to life.

The Vision
Businesses already use charts, dashboards and diagrams. These are useful for showing quantities, trends, and static relationships. But they are less effective when the key idea is movement, interaction, or behavior over time. Because the Helios interface stays so simple, AI agents are well suited to write these visualisations for you. Instead of using Helios to explain your code, use it to explain your ideas.
Forget the code, the visualisations stand on their own
A non-technical individual doesn't need to know that Helios runs on Python underneath. A finished animation can be the entire product. The code is just the vehicle that made it possible.
Convert your ideas to intuitive visuals
A static chart shows a quantity. A Helios animation shows behavior. Ideas that are hard to explain in a meeting become something people can just watch and understand.
Build for everyone, no coding experience required
You describe the idea in plain English, and an AI agent writes the underlying code and wires up the visualization for you. No programming background needed to go from concept to animation.
We are eager to hear from you!
We're trying to find the strongest initial market and would like to identify one concrete use case for your company where we could focus on and measure whether Helios actually saves time or improves understanding. What real example should we use to test that?

Bring your own code. Watch it move.
Write a Python script, run helios script.py, and open the animation as a single HTML file.
